About Peaceforce Security
The Peaceforce Security Company was first established in 1974 and, during the almost 30 intervening years, we have since grown to become one of the most trusted and respected operators in our field in the Republic of South Africa. Today we are positioned to offer our clients a comprehensive range of services that is quite exceptional within the industry not just for its unusually broad scope but, even more significantly, for our unfailing pursuit of excellence.
The Group’s services are fully accredited by the industry’s official regulatory body; the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority or PSIRA. In addition, Peaceforce is an equal opportunity employer and member of the SSEO, (Security Services Employers Association) whose successful transformation programme has now placed women prominently both within the company’s ownership and among its senior management. The company is currently certified as a BBBEE compliant, level 4 contributor.
Of course, the strength and the effectiveness of an operation such as ours is as much a function of its field operatives as of its administrators. While the latter compile and oversee our individually tailored services, their effective implementation will still depend wholly on the skills and experience of the security officers on the ground. Selected with care and trained to the highest standards of the industry, each member of our extensive force is dedicated to the protection of the client and will have been made fully conversant with the nature of their often unique needs. It is precisely this exceptional attention to detail upon which our reputation for consistently meeting and exceeding the needs of our many satisfied clients has been built.
Versatility, innovation and the effective application of the latest security technology are also major factors in our success. The latter is reflected in our use of methodologies such as fingerprint checking via the mobile AFISwitch, criminal enquiry facility which interfaces directly with the SAPS to provide both rapid identification and a record of any associated illicit activities. Layered voice analysis and polygraph testing are also among the investigative options that Peaceforce is able to offer and the latter may be included as a part of our pre-employment screening services.
We strive continuously to identify the needs of our clients accurately and to address them by designing, implementing and managing proven, cost-effective security solutions. Above all, Peaceforce aspires to be the very best at what we do – providing a battery of world-class, professional security services to South Africa’s home and business owners and its many crucial industries.
To be recognised and respected as the security service provider of choice – for both customers and employees.
The Peaceforce Security Group mission statement is to deliver superior service in all aspects of our business in order to become indispensable to our customers, shareholders and employees through the implementation of the latest technology and guarding available in order to safeguard people, premises and possessions.
